Day long woman specific mountain bike courses offering different sessions for different abilities on the day.  Can one really take a lot away in one day ?  Well, the answer is yes.  I am constantly surprised at the close by what an impact these sessions have .  There is no doubt that the woman only formula is bang on.  The group dynamic is naturally saturated with a nurturing support structure that permeates right through.  The cream is supplied by the coaching team.

South Downs Way 2011 (100miles 9hrs 42min)

A classic mountain bike trail in the UK.  An ancient route along the top of the South Downs area  in Southern England. Clocking in at 160km’s (100miles) this is a must do ride. Underlying chalk geology allows for good riding all year round though it can get a bit slippy when wet .  Stupendous views in a quintessentially english countryside.  Pays to be fairly fit though, as you have got about 12000 ft of ascent to deal with.  Ride Hard.

Squirt Chain lube ( always in our bag….)

A good question :  So Squirt is the perfect chain lube?   Why can’t I find it anywhere?

Carl :   “In the mid nineties a wax based lube appeared on the market that was a great idea but didnt work very well. Shop keepers and riders used it and decided wax lubes didnt work. Like full suspension bikes back then that didn’t work things change and its the same with Squirt which is the next generation lube and its 100% biodegradable. Unlike an oil based lube that you can apply just before you ride Squirt needs to dry on the chain first. This makes it alot less user friendly than an oil based lube although that brings us back to the degreasing bit again. More and more shops and riders are realising Squirt is something completely different and have become converts. “

We here at Dirt Divas have been using this lube now for a good couple of years.  Nothing has shown for us to use anything else….
